Firmtrax is the culmination of a career dedicated to leveraging brands for revenue. The elements contained within the course reflect my belief that more is accomplished when all the people behind a brand work together with a consistent message. My favorite aspect of my work is helping firms grow toward their potential by putting them in position to build strong relationships with clients and showcase their strengths.
Who is this Chris guy?
I am proud to be the Managing Director and Founder of Firmtrax. In this capacity, I am responsible for providing strategic direction and personalized marketing content for companies of all sizes and scopes. I founded Firmtrax and immediately helped firms organize their marketing and BD operations in a cost-effective way. The Firmtrax Marketing System is unique and allows firms to follow a detailed marketing plan complete with technology and content deliverables. In short, my goal is to bring all of my experience to your life’s work.

Prior to founding Firmtrax, I served as the Director of Marketing and Business Development at Gallagher Flynn, LLP. In this capacity, my responsibilities included developing the GFC brand strategy as well as new business initiatives. I also served on the RSM Alliance marketing advisory board.

Prior to joining GFC, I served as an Officer of Administration at the University of Vermont as the first assistant VP of Marketing and Business Development. During his twelve-year career at UVM, I implemented several key marketing programs and oversaw the University’s Licensing unit. Athletic marketing and licensing recorded record revenues under McCabe’s direction. In 2012, I served as the liaison to USA Hockey when Burlington served as the host site for the 2012 Women’s Hockey World Championships. I also served as the Chair of the Marketing and Television Committee for Hockey East. As Chair, he helped lead all marketing and television negotiations on behalf of Hockey East and its partners, TD Garden, NBC, NESN, ESPN, and CBS College Sports.

Prior to UVM, I held the position of Vice President of Global Online and Integrated sales at World Wrestling Entertainment. At WWE, I created several successful cross-platform advertising programs for sponsors, including ‘I WANNA GO’ in 2001.

Prior to WWE, I served as the Vice President of the Client Partnership Group of News Digital Media, the online arm of News Corporation. While at NDM, I created cross-platform advertising programs directly with brand managers across the FOX family of properties including Fox Sports, Fox News, and Fox Network.

After retiring from professional Lacrosse, I began my career with the Mass Bay Brewing Company where I directed the sales expansion of the Harpoon family of products to new regions of the country.
I am a graduate of The Lawrenceville School and hold a B.S from the University of Vermont where I was a member of the Men’s Lacrosse team and team captain. I went on to play professionally for the Boston Blazers of the NLL and was inducted into the University of Vermont Athletic Hall of Fame in 2002. In 2016 I was named the University of Vermont’s 40th All Anniversary team.
